Call for Latinx Artists: 

Deadline: October 23rd, 2020

Part of our Dia de Muertos event this year. A group exhibition by emerging and established artists working in a variety of media to explore aspects of Hispanic Culture.

Online and in a physical space (more information coming shortly).

Call for Youth Artists: 

Deadline: Wednesday 28th October, 2020

A virtual exhibition showcasing work from our own youth talent, based on what Dia de Muertos means to them. 2D & 3D work. Submissions can be everything from sketching, coloring, painting, digital, photography, a piñata, decorating with marigolds, altars, food art, painted sugar skulls (just to name a few). Get creative! 

Ages: From Pre-K - K12.

Community members are invited to create altars (ofrendas) for our Dia de Muertos event 2020.

Call for Artists: 2021 Rotating Exhibitions

Due Date: October 31, 2020

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is looking for local artists to show in 2021 at The Gallery at Town Center in Lake Forest Park, a not-for-profit gallery featuring 5 – 6 week, two person exhibits with each artist showing on approximately 9 feet of wall space. The gallery schedule is set on a yearly basis. 

Call for Artists: Small Works & Gifts

Due Date: ongoing, year-round

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is looking for local artists to display their handmade small works and gift items at The Gallery at Town Center in Lake Forest Park. We carry a variety of items and mediums – jewelry, sculpture, cards, miniatures, pottery, glass, metal, wood, scarves, purses, etc.

Call for Project Proposals: MiniGrants

Due Date: ongoing, year-round

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council offers funds (up to $300) for community art projects that are created by teens and promote diversity.

Call for Teaching Artists

Due Date: ongoing, year-round

Artists in Schools (AiS) is an Arts Education program, funded by the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council, that places professional teaching artists into classrooms of Kindergarten - 12th graders in the Shoreline School District. Teaching Artists are invited to apply to go on our roster.

The Shoreline Arts Festival Juried Art Show is presented by the Arts Council as part of the Shoreline Arts Festival, with 2021 in its 31st year. The Juried Art Show features original works by local artists and includes 2D and 3D works in all mediums.

Interested in having a booth at the Shoreline Holiday Market? Held at the end of November each year, submissions for the event are usually taken in August.

Call for Artists: 6X6NW

Coming: August 2021

Art exhibition and fundraiser, 6X6NW  features hundreds of 6x6-inch works of art from artists locally, and all over the country, in all variety of medium. 

Registration usually opens in August, with the show at the start of October.

Call for Teaching Artists: Create & Make

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council seeks proposals from visual, performing, literary, and culinary artists to teach online courses for adults as a part of the 2020 Create & Make series.
