Edible Book Festival
Third Place Commons, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park
The Edible Book Festival is back and FREE for all ages!
Readers: Start your ovens! As part of the International Edible Book Festival, the Arts Council will host our own local Edible Book Festival. Bibliophiles, book artists and food lovers will unite to create edible books. During the festival, the edible books are displayed, admired by the public, and photographed. We invite distinguished book people to award the prizes. Then we eat the books, with milk or coffee.
An “edible book” is a dessert, main dish, side dish, or appetizer, that is inspired by a book. It can look like a book, scroll or tablet, or NOT. It can be inspired by the book title, a scene or a character. The idea is to have fun, and create something good to eat, and share.
How can you participate?
• This event is FREE and open to the public of all ages.
• Come join us on the day to admire the books, and eat.
• Enter your edible book creation to win one of these prizes.
How to enter:
Bring your edible book (and real book) and register day of.
