Concerts in the Park



Wednesday evenings in July and August at various community park locations throughout Shoreline and Lake Forest Park.

Bring the kids, your friends, a picnic and a blanket or low chair to sit on and come outside and enjoy the show!  A wide range of musical performers offering something for everyone.

The 2015 Summer schedule included musical performances by The Wild Snohomians, Cherry Cherry Band,
Jessica Lynne, Grupo Amoroso, The Portage Bay Big Band, and Michael Stegner & Friends.  In addition, the theatrical production “As You Like It” was performed by Wooden O Seattle Shakespeare Company.

July 15 – “As You Like It” Seattle Shakespeare Company, Richmond Beach Park, Shoreline

July 22 – Cherry Cherry Band. Neil Diamond Tribute Band.  Cromwell Park, Shoreline

July 29 – Jessica Lynne. Original country music.  Animal Acres Park, Lake Forest Park

August 5 – Grupo Amoroso.  Classic bossa nova, Brazilian pop and jazz. Richmond Beach Park, Shoreline

NO concert August 12.  Instead come out and hear the great jazz music at the North City Jazz Walk on Tuesday August, 11.  Various locations on 15th Ave NE north of 175th Street NE.  Shoreline Jazz Camp students and faculty perform at St. Mark Church & School. This performance is free, but other venues require tickets. Visit

August 19 – The Portage Bay Big Band.  Swing.  Cromwell Park, Shoreline

August 26 – Arts Al Fresco Grand Finale. Michael Stegner & Friends will perform his Americana on one of the pianos from PianoTime. Shoreline City Hall Courtyard.

Each year The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council seeks a variety of quality local and regional bands to perform at our outdoor summer concert series. Summer concerts are held on Wednesday evenings, at various community parks in July and August. All concerts are outdoor venues with a covered mobile stage or gazebo for the performers. The Arts Council provides a sound system and technician.

If you are interested to perform as part of the summer Concerts in the Park series, letters of interest, applications and promotional materials are ONLY RECEIVED NOVEMBER-JANUARY.  The deadline for receipt is always January 15.  Applicants will be contacted only if they are asked to be on the schedule.  For application information and to apply visit the “Opportunities” tab of this website and search for “Call for Performers: Concerts in the Park.”
