Don’t Forget About the Season’s Pass, $150 for all five sessions in the series (a savings of $25!)

The technique of printing monotypes will be explored. Prints will be made by painting on plexiglass using ink/oil paint then pressed by hand onto sheets of paper. Stencils, watercolor, solvents, brushes, and other tools will be used to embellish the monotype prints. Students will learn that monoprinting is a form of printmaking that can only be made once, unlike most printmaking techniques, where multiple prints can be pulled.

Chris Kroehler has been teaching art to students in grades K-12 in the Shoreline School District for the past ten years. He also teaches adult drawing classes at Truth Teller Winery in Woodinville.

Location for all sessions: Cromwell Room

The Shoreline Center: 18560 1st Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA 98155.
