Add some color and fun to your garden or potted plants with this fused glass workshop making glass butterfly ponds! These attractive and whimsical pieces not only attract butterflies, but also hummingbirds, and add a splash of color, too! All supplies will be on hand to create a 6″ diameter piece that will then be taken to instructor’s studio to fire in her kiln with a copper cap fused into the bottom, making so you can then add any length of copper pipe (easily acquired at Lowe’s or Home Depot). Participants will create the piece at the workshop and then after firing, can pick them up about a week later at the Arts Council’s office. No prior experience required. Included will be instructions on glass cutting and fusing techniques.
