Spend an hour with the master poet, critic ad renowned author Edgar Allan Poe. Set in an 1849 literary salon during the last months of this life, Poe recites from his work and shares his views on the state of American literature as he tries to persuade listeners to subscribe to a new magazine he as created, The Stylus.

Written by Northwest playwright Bryan Willis an starring Tim Hoban, this one-hour show brings Poe’s life and obsessions to the library.

This program is presented by the Arts Council in partnership with the King County Library System. Support is provided by the City of Shoreline, City of Lake Forest Park, and 4Culture.
