Whether you’re a raw beginner to the costume world and have no idea where to start constructing  your epic ideas, or you’ve already made a couple of costumes but want to branch out with your materials, join us in a presentation on cosplay construction techniques and materials.

We’ll be covering how to take a costume from concept to construction, alternative materials, budget costuming, basics of thrift store modding, materials sourcing, hand skills and tools to have, and more! We’ll also have some show and tell items of finished props and costumes, as well as materials. Bring your questions and ideas!

For more information, please contact the Shoreline Library at 206.362.7550

This program is presented by the Arts Council in partnership with the King County Library System. Support is provided by the City of Shoreline, City of Lake Forest Park, and 4Culture.
