The Shoreline Arts Festival provides two extraordinary days of visual arts, music, music, hands-on crafts and even a little theater. Plus we have delicious food trucks. This creative community event, sponsored by the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council, is FREE and will be held at the Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Ave NE. Pursue paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and pretty much every other kind of art as you saunter through the sunshine and decide which of the masterpieces on offer will come home with you. Enrich your home with hand-made art, support local artists, and show the world where you stand as a curator of great taste. With over 80 participating artists, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.

JURIED ART & PHOTOGRAPHY
The Juried Art Show is one of the highlights of the Shoreline Arts Festival. In past years the art exhibits have featured over 250 artworks from local and regional artists in Photography, 2D Art and 3D Art. Annually we award over $2000 prizes to artists. Festival goers have the chance to vote for the always popular People’s Choice Award.
Juried Art awards will be presented at 6PM on Saturday, June 24 in the Juried Art Show room.
YOUTH ART EXHIBITION
Be amazed by youth artists in our community at the annual Youth Art Exhibit!! Students in Pre-K through 12th grade can submit their favorite 2-D and 3-D artwork for inclusion in the show. Awards are given in four different age groups of student artists. Artwork for the Shoreline School District 2017-18 calendar is selected from this exhibit of over 300 artworks. Come surround yourself in the creativity of our youth!
Youth Art awards will be presented at 10AM on Saturday, June 24 on the Festival Showmobile Stage.
HANDS ON ART FOR KIDS & KIDS-AT-HEART
Try your hand at a Festival favorite with one or all of our Hands-On Art stations! This art is for kids and adults alike. Bring a little creativity and your imagination and enjoy making something beautiful. The famous Fish Prints are back for a sea of colorful aquatic productions. We’ll have several other Hands-on Art stations for you to explore this year. Come create with us!
MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATER
This year’s play is Peter & Wendy Group auditions are held on June 19, 2017 at 3:45pm at the Shoreline Center – open to all students grades K-12.
Explore the four cultural rooms that offer many fun hands-on activities and displays. Experience different cultures, sample foods, see art, listen to music, learn to dance. This year’s highlights include:

Philippine Cultural Room hosted by Filipiniana Arts and Culture
Chinese Cultural Room hosted by Chinese Artist and Cultural Groups
Latino Cultural Room hosted by Cesar Garcia & Peggie Hernandez
African Cultural Room hosted by JHP Cultural & Diversity Legacy
FOOD TRUCK FOOD COURT
Get lunch, dinner, or just a sweet treat at this year’s Arts Festival Food Court. Conveniently located by the Showmobile Outdoor Stage the food court is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to nurture all of the arts in the community through programs and events, arts education, advocacy, and support for artists and arts organizations.
